Athlete Branding and NIL

A free short course by Sportal Corporate — not a credit-bearing university award.

1h 53m of video9 videos14 written lessons

How athletes build and protect commercial value — personal brand strategy, name image and likeness, content, endorsements and reputation.

The course defines what an athlete brand actually is and how one is built from nothing, then explains NIL and what it changed. It treats social media as the primary channel and works through a real content strategy rather than posting advice, covers negotiating an endorsement and what the numbers should look like, and finishes with reputation — when it goes wrong, and how it is properly understood and repaired.

It suits athletes at any level, agents and managers, university and academy staff advising players, and students on a sport marketing course. Nine video lessons are released one at a time, with written notes, key terms and an exercise. A ten-question quiz at 80% earns a certificate with a verifiable ID.
