Sports Nutrition
A free short course by Sportal Corporate — not a credit-bearing university award.

What the evidence says about fuelling athletes — energy and macronutrients, hydration, timing, supplements, and the risks of under-fuelling.
The course covers where energy comes from and what the macronutrients do, carbohydrate for performance, and hydration and electrolytes. It then gets specific about timing: eating around training and competition, fuelling young athletes, and what athletes actually eat rather than what they are told to. A final lesson works through supplements and the evidence behind the claims.
It suits coaches, athletes and parents, fitness professionals, and students on a nutrition, sports science or physical education course. It is educational and not a substitute for individual advice from a registered dietitian. Eight video lessons are released one at a time, with written notes and key terms. A ten-question quiz at 80% earns a verifiable certificate.
